Perfectly Grungy

The most fun I have with fashion is learning a little more about it all of the time. Whether that’s learning about a new company or being a part of a new facet of the industry, I’m thrilled to be able to get the experience. The latest realm of the market I’ve been exploring is men’s fashion. It’s focus on clean lines and classic styles actually brings out a huge amount of creativity, and so many men have such unique personal styles that are put together with a limited variety of items.

These are a couple photos I took for my latest internship at CollegeFashionista. The website has a fabulous creative director, Amy Levin, and what I get to do there inspires me every day to keep up with the fashion industry. Personal style is such an evolutionary and incredible thing.

These particular images are some of my favorites because he was such a sweet guy, and a real joy to photograph. I love his personal taste too, indie/grunge is really downtown chic right now. He also pulls off the style without gaining any “cooler than thou” attitude.
